Nice! Which gearbox are you using? The O2A (I think) from the VR6?

With the rally crowd I used to hang out with, the gearboxes were always the weaker link

Yeah I'm running an 02A, the VR6 one doesn't bolt up to 4cyl engines. I'm running a Passat 16v 02A, it came out of a 320k km car and I haven't had any problems with it. The weak transmissions are the 020s, 02As can handle 350-400wtq if driven properly

I bought mine knowing it would guzzle gas. But then I also leave it parked from M-F a good 15+ weeks and don't drive to/from work ever.

How about a weeknight then? I have a tournament next weekend so I'm not sure of the schedule yet.
