Matinee and Armada nights were my fav nights. Cocoon let me down a little, a lot of energy and shit but it was just kinda boring, I guess I expected more.....the repetitive techno/prog got reaaaaallly old towards the end of the trip. I was almost begging from house and trance.
Music wise Armin was prob my fav set even though so many djs had us rocking out in the fog cannons. He played some bangin tunes and dropped "Direct Dizko (Sander Remix)" at like 7am, people were going nuts and I thought my head was gonna explode. He had all of us dancing out asses off.
Kinda sucks I only went to Amnesia and Space but those were the parties we wanted to go to so it's all good. I'll check out Pacha and the others next year! (i need to go back). Bora Bora was a sick time too. Maybe I'll write a full review when I get back. But fuck was that fun and hard to party that much. |
Wow u had a trip very simliar to mine i guess...i saw armin, tiesto and paul when i was there, and i couldnt believe that armin actually was the one to blow me away. i was so happy that he brought me and sean in the booth with him for his last hour and i got a chance to tell him that his set was the best i heard all week (and i swear i was sober only that night which was my last...he absolutely blew me away), AND the best in years compared to what he does in nyc, He took it very well, so lets hope he kills it next week at the Zoo.
