I did manage to get some mixing time in last night, but it was totally for personal therapy purposes since I had just found out that a close friend and co-worker had passed away. So, I didn't really feel like digging through a new genre, I just felt like playing music for my own sake. (I did record it, though, if anyone wants to hear.)
Besides that, buying my first home has taken up a lot of my time, along with going to DEMF. Sorry to be such a Faily McFail-stick. I might still do the mix even past the deadline, as I would indeed like to explore 2-step garage.

I'm going to be a good TA and review most of the mixes in one post

Thanks for listening to my set, I'm listening to your Indie dance mix at the moment. Don't take this the wrong way or anything, but this music sounds like it should be played in a convenience store/shopping mall/elevator/weather channel. Super downtempo, ridiculously chilled out. It's not bad by any means, it's just... well, boring. Your mixing was alright, beatmatching appears to be out of the question here, but the way you strung tracks together was very acceptable.
24 min is good, 27-28 min is tripping me out this wouldn't be on the weather channel! Overall the set was pretty tasty and chillax, I kinda liked how you peaked in the middle of the set and played some more chill tracks afterwards. Nice work, btw relax dude, people will review your stuff soon enough

Very short mix you got here
It started off a little slow, but you start picking up the pace as things move along. A lot of it seemed more breakish than dubby, there wasn't any tardstep or wobble shit thrown in here, which is sometimes a good thing, and sometimes makes things seem not quite dubby enough. After listening to the whole thing, there was a little dubstep in there, but mostly housey breaks. Not quite what I was expecting, but not exactly bad. Nice try, though.

This set is progressing very nicely. I really like the tracks you have laid out here. I like the track at 30 minutes, it's a bit more lively than the previous ones. Overall, I think this music is nice, funky, and easy listening. I enjoyed it quite a bit!

Pretty cool stuff you got here. Rather simple, yet at the same time, it's banging. Definitely sounds like it would be played in a club 10 years ago
I liked a lot of these tracks, was quite an interesting genre to hear. Some of the mixing was a tad confusing, but I'm sure that it was difficult to mix considering you had no beats to match and the tempo appeared to change often. Some of these vocals sound like they're some housey stuff, definitely clubbish to me! I liked how you kept it extra short, I'm sure it would be hard to handle much more. The last track is like some early hardcore DnB, which is very cool. Very good work, mate!

Hardstyle is tough to like sometimes, because of screeching synths, annoying DJ voices, and repetitive simplistic melodies. You've done sort of a hybrid of Hard Trance and Hardstyle here in the beginning, but at about the 12 minute mark you bring in a familiar hardstyle melody Pretty pumpin stuff here, dude. I dig it. 21 minutes is a totally different change of pace, it's blowing my mind here The following track is good too, it sounds like some HardPSYle The rest of the tracks after are sorta up and down as far as flow is concerned. Some of them border on the hard trance spectrum, some of them are a tad annoying straight up tardstyle tracks. 66-67 minutes was a tad different than the rest of the set, but not in a bad way. I liked this set more than I like most Hardstyle. You did it well, and you did it right. I ESPECIALLY like this last track that you finished off with, like some uplifting hard trance. Very nice work! /applause

Sort of a jazzy start to this one. Interesting. Much more laid back with fun breaks to keep it moving. This is like some lounge DnB it seems. Nothing really banged too hard, maybe the stuff around 38 minutes is the hardest stuff in this set. That's not exactly a bad thing, but so much lounge DnB sorta gets old after a while. The track at 47 minutes didn't really do it for me either... Overall I thought the set was decent but not quite my flavor of DnB. No worries, though, good work!
Whoever I missed, I will listen later. Thanks for the music guys!

And Ziptnf, thanks for taking the time to listen. When I looked up music to mix I realized that a lot of it, well, sucks. The genre has the tendency to sound very noisy, which I didn't like. At the same time, however, I realized that there are still people putting out more melodic/less hectic stuff, and I realized that I would much rather go that route for the mix. So I did a little digging and came up with 11 tracks to mix. The last one, unfortunately, turned out to be pretty much impossible to mix, so I omitted it.
