As long as people keep feeding these locals false-positive feedback, then where's the challenge for the DJ to improve himself. I know DJs who can't mix worth a damn (like myself!!) who think they can mix with the best of them (which I, nor them, can!) when they are farrrrrrrr from it.
It does those DJs no good if no one sits there and tells them issues they have with their mixing, programming, etc. |
dude, SURE, but what if you feel that they are playing GREAT? (which I do!) Then should you feed them a false-negative feedback. I mean, WTF. Seriously, we could go on and on about this, and make 15 more pages about this, but the bottom line is some people like them, some people don't. It's like that for all djs. Some ppl like them, some ppl dont!
So whats the "acid test"? How do you know if the dj is worth it?
Well, seeing as we live in a democracy (or so they say). You look around, and if people are dancing, and they're pumped up, smiling, jumping up and down, shouting "yeah!" you can preety much say "Damn, that's a good dj". Technical bs outside. Don't you think that's fair enough?
Its up to the djs themselves to improve themselves. I'm sure everyone needs improvement. You can never get enough of that.
