So far it's been pretty good I think. Any Djs here? How do you do that cool little effect that geilin just did to finish off the mix into this song? I also heard PvD do it on his mayday 2002 set while mixing into EMERGE. Just curious...

ray, its called a backspin. what you do is spin the record "going out" backwards and slam the fader across to finish off the trick.
yeah i didn't like it when he messed around with the fader and flanger like that.

you mean that backspin?
just when the outgoing track is about to finish (or where you want it to finish), you spin the record backwards.. you have to make sure you don't skip the needle or anything, but that's the basic technique.
