Hey i didn't wanna make a new thread but can somebody tell me, does bass from a speaker next to a turntable move the pitch slider??

The pitch seems to be moving by itself sometimes on my TTs, now the speakers are just next to them since i have no space anywhere else to put them. Could it be the pitch slider being stuffed, or maybe just the bass moving it slightly???

BTW have ya seen the pics to the new GTA, i think they were fake but whoa they were schweeet!! can't wait for this.

Anyway, it's Monday morning, and 2:24am. And I just wanted to announce that todays Melbourne G.P was great!(although the Adelaide GP was better ) Go Schumacher & Ferrari!!

Psygnosis, it's more likely that the pitch sliders are stuffed. I don't think there's anything magnetic in the TT that the speaker cones would be affecting....

And the Grand Prix sucked, boring race and crappy result

Yeh man that's what i keep thinking but so many people are saying different stuff. The other day though i turned off my speakers and mixed off my headies without actually having music in the background and apparently the pitch didn't move at all, i didn't even have to nudge it once.

Then today comes which i had the speakers blasting, i'm mixing, all of a sudden the mix is going well then it slightly slows down, so i'm like ok, i fix it up without touching the pitch just to experiment, then boom the song speeds up by itself so i gotta nudge it back down. It does this all this all the time but yeh it might be the pitch slider

still under warranty i think, so that's helpful i hope.

search slashdot, over the past week there was a pictorial by someone from russia about it. Pretty interesting stuff, seeing how empty it is.

Did u realise that 2 of the other reactors at the Cherbonyl plant (ones that werent damaged in the explosion) are still operational and providing vast amounts of power to the russian grid??

All that radiation caused by a human error....

The reactor is also leaking radiation through it's concrete coffin, there is apparently some plan to build a massive dome type structure to completely encase it forever.

Scary shit though, especially when you realise that most people enlisted to fight the fires didn't realise the danger they were in...
