I think people underestimate how simple all this "h4xx0ring" is:

1. Buy a USB data cable for your phone on Ebay for like 10 bucks. Every phone newer than 5 years has one. Newer phones come with it packaged already.

2. Use the software provided with your phone (if it has bluetooth, then it'll come with this software) to transfer whatever you want, and how much of it you want onto/off the phone.

Yeah.

Samsung's PC Studio 3 and the included USB data cable make life easy for me.

got it...

I'm finished with my 2yr corp. plan with rogers, and never had a cable for my t720 poopophone.

Now, I don't want to spend more than $50 for a phone upgrade, or $100 if it's a really good deal to lock for another 2-3 years.

My current fav choices are;

$99/$49 for 2/3 yr plan renewal
Sony Ericsson W600i
Motorola v635i
LG 500

Several others are free for either 2 or 3 yrs;
Audiovox SMT5600 BlackBerry 7280 LG 1500 Motorola Razr V3
Motorola Razr V3 Black Motorola V186 Motorola V360 Motorola V551
Nokia 3120 Nokia 3220 Nokia 6101 Nokia 6820 Samsung 207 Samsung p207 White Sony Ericsson J300

I would like something small to fit in my pocket while at the guv.

suggestions?

If you want something slim, get the Razr. Everything else is a huge brick.

Or you could get the same phone I have, Samsung D820. *swoon*

Yes, I know I am contradicting myself, but am seriously considering this.

I saw it at Holts today and just fell in love with the yellow leather and stitching. Plus I may strike up a good deal.

Or maybe.....

(It would be more conservative, but better when using the phone in front of clients)

Someone talk me out of this!!!!

The Razr seems perfect for clubbing, love that feature, however 2 things bug me about it... the polarization of the screen is verticle instead of horizontal so the screen looks fcuked to me, and 2) everyone seems to have it now.

The Motorola v635i, and LG 500 are nearly identical, but the reviews on the Sony Ericsson W600i seem to be the best of the three.
