I call ang up to tell her to bring a guetto blaster in the car so we have tunes, but she didnt have one! so fack! lol!! so we pick up ang, show her how the stereo is facked, then get on the highway. its at this time we forget the gas gauge in the car doesnt work, it always says its on half, but could be empty, coudl be full, who the frig knows! he estimated we had like 30km left, and we were already on a highway, doing 120km/h, wondering if were going to run out! i'm like "we got fuckin 10minutes left on this shit, were done!!" ang is just laughing at stuff in the back haha. finally with me and my friend bitching back and forth we get off after like 15minutes, and get gas at some place. then we went the wrong direction on the highway and got lost, had to stop at crabby joes to ask where the fack to go, got back on. get to a fork in the highway, and my friend just takes the right one, then asks after taking it "do you know where to go?" i'm like "how the fack do I know!?? you seem to know which way to go!!" so he loses it and bitchs at me for not knowing hahaha! so were massive out of the way but still heading towards T.O., but eventually got there, and then no more drama or stress lol!! got to guv at about 12:50am roughly

Wow! That is SOME story!!! Doesn't Ang have the worst luck making it out to parties...?!?!

I'm glad to hear that you guys made it there (and back) OK .

What an amazing night!!!

But it started pretty shitty- two friends I was coming with lost their tickets and were very pissed to say the least; they ended up buying new ones at the door for $65 each - for both of them they spend $230 on LoL tickets alone- now, thats and expensive night!!!

After we got into KH things got so much better!!

I dont want to repeat what most ppl said already but...
its hard not to:

Blank and Jones were absolutely mint!!! It was my first time seeing them and every minute was a pure pleasure, those guys ruled big time.
And not only their set but also their attitude and appreciation for us -the crowd -was fantastic! I was close to the front and I could see them smiling at us- it was so uplifting!!!
I pray they come back to TO pretty soon!

I also was very pissed at those idiots chanting AVB at the end of B&J, total lack of respect, those fu..ers danced and enjoyed the B&J set and disrespected them like that at the end- thanks Fahad for saving the moment!!


ARMIN, well I dont think I can add anything new to what was already said- like always he was great; I totally agree with everyone that said his set was solid. I dont know how I managed that, but when the bouncer wasn't looking (he was talking to some girl)I somehow bypassed him and got to go on the backstage- no- I was not the one dancing in front of the DJ- I was at the back taking a lot of pics- will post them soon- another security guy wanted to kick me off right away but I beg him to let me stay and take few more pics-he gave up and pretended he didn't see me- thank you nice security person!!! I have few great picsof Armin signing things!!! Fahad showed up on the stage soon after. It was great to see Armin!


I very much enjoyed meeting some TA and seeing those few that I already knew: Fahad, Taylor, Starsearcher, Jen- its always a pleasure. I am so happy to be a part of such a great group of ppl.
I'm not so good with names while partying... but few I remember, sorry for those I missed.
It was a pleasure meeting Tatgirl- sorry I was so talkative at the end of the night- you were so nice!

a bit long but promised a few TA's that i'll give a full review of my first time there.

It was me and my friend Leo who I convinced to come out to labour of love with me. we were having a great afternoon and decided to pass by the guv since he didn’t have a ticket, we found a few people from the crew putting up the tent we asked about the tickets they said to line up at 8 to get your tickets, and there was 1200 tickets available I said 1200?? Buddy u’re sure to get in, ……boy was I wrong, so we decided to charge our batteries before the big event.
We get there at 12, pass by the place and see this HUGE line up all the way around the complex, it was insane. Anyways we line up for a good half an hour to hear one of the bouncers shouting saying tickets are sold out only people with tickets are getting in, so my buddy leaves,and I stayed in the line feeling a bit skeptical about the tickets selling out.
They close the lineup to the guv and the only way to get in was through koolhaus I was frustrated before even getting in, I thought I was going to miss out on digweed (he was the one I was looking forward to see). Finally got through went to the ticket booth and asked for tickets and they were still selling some, I tried calling my buddy up but his phone was off.

Finally got in at 1:45 got in to feel like sheep, bouncers pointing the way and people shoving to go through, we went through the hallway and up the stairs until we got to the upstairs lounge of the government, as soon as I got in I see jenn from the bbq party smiling, she grabs me to offer me some candy (perfect timing). I excuse my self to be part of the vibe downstairs (HUGE MISTAKE ), but the vibe was push and shove, the music was great but the sound was a bit distorted, digweed was doing it for me but the place was ridiculously packed was trying to find a spot but there was no place to dance and it was stinking hot, couldn’t stand it so a go out side to have a breath of air walk around to see diginut and guy with goatee(sry forgot ur name). As I head back in I see Gamma heading out, good to cya buddy those were good tunes u played at the bbq party. I go back in and as soon as I get in I felt like I was getting into a sauna there were even people with shirts off so it somewhat looked like a sauna, i decided that its time to see the other rooms.

Here is where my mind fails me I go walking around up to the drink then up to the sky bar then i go down from sky bar suddenly I see Liam (it was good to see a familiar face cannot recall where i found him though), anyhow he takes me to show me around so we go to the tent where they were playing some sick tunes, we go to the back of the tent to meet this cute girl with a pretty smile wearing a TA shirt (forgot your name babe).
so LKD takes me to go to the orange room where evil nine was playing and we were totally jamming to some sick breaks, I see Ben over there and we all get together to throw some shapes. Here is where my mind goes really bad, all I remember I’m at the guv seeing digweed finishing his set Ali takes over. There I meet this cool TA named T-unit we totally jam to what tunes Ali was throwing, we decide to go to the drink where they are playing some crazy drum n bass was totally feeling the mc, from there we go to koolhaus where I catch the last of B&J walk around and see Ben totally rocking it I look on the other side and see Nat and dallastar.n I walk a bit inside to see this guy I saw at the bbq party but was never formally introduced I ask him u TA right? he says yeah fayraree. nice to meet u buddy but I guess I caught at the wrong time(there was this shirtless stinking guy right next to us I couldn’t stand the stench so I walk away to see fayraree shove the guy to the back). i wasn’t feeling the koolhaus although it was beautifull, so I take Ben and T-unit for some crazy session of deepdish on our way I see stilez and his wife we chat it up a bit and head to the guv we get there and good thing the place cleared up a bit there was room to dance. ben excused himself T-unit leaves as well, there is when my sweet tooth was asking for more candy. i get hooked up with some candy gone bad it made me go all over the place. And three hours through deepdish’s set I thought it was the worse set I’ve ever heard by them (I thought when they come to Toronto the lay the best sets ever), well they made up for it the last few hours, I was totally feeling it until sharam played say hello, had to run away ASAP plus I was totally sketched out.
I go up to the skybar and the music wasn’t as loud as it should have been anyways I saw RJ, Sean and Karim grooving to some demi hang out with them for a bit then I head down to koolhaus to see marcus going off to armin’s last tune, I go back to the guv and stay there. After 6 hours of totally not feeling the whole party when all the stages closed the guv finally felt good and intimate (except for the orange room and the skybar of course) and the tunes that sharam was lying were off the hook, Rob Mooney - Feelin’ Electro was the tune that made my day my whole body was totally out that tune got me up again, dons feat Technotronic - Pump Up The Jam I never get bored no matter how many times I hear it, dreams was great and loved how they ended it with coldplay - speed of sound (Steve porter remix)what a tune to finish the set made me jump around non- stop.

The government is a great club (not my favourite though)but to be honest thought this party could have been way better. And the sound system was a bit distorted except for the orange room.

markus blew me away, B&J blew me away....and avb tried but there wasnt much left of me by the time he was through.....awsome night...club was way to hot but godamn it was fun...video and audio will be avail later for download so dont panic...keep the pics comin though!
