Obviously, peckerhead. But that's certainly not the same. AndI'm sure Jenks isn't throwing 40+ pitches in those simulated games like he may have to in the WS.

I don't think it's the ideal scenario but I think in the end it won't be the reason for them losing or winning. Their starters will be the biggest difference in my opinion, either good or bad. They look awfully sharp so far.

I also think the ChiSox have caught lightning in a bottle this year and will be difficult to repeat their performance next year. Yet I definitely pulling for them to win the series.

I feel like history is repeating itself... all of a sudden teams that havent won since the early 1900's are winning in the early 2000's (so far)... its a hell of a coincidence.

Totally agree on all. I do not see them even making the playoffs next year. Though, I don't see Cleveland having a bullpen as good as they had this year either.

Still see the Indians winning that division next year (nevermind that I've been picking them to win the Central for 3 years now).

The Red Sox... and who else? Certainly not the Cubs. And it's not much of a coincidence even if the White Sox win. The Red Sox have been perenially good for must of the history of the Majors. The Cubs usually field a very competitive team. The White Sox do seem to have just lucked out a lot this year.

Who knows, gotta let some time fly before I can really say that its a coincidence...

Anyway, this WS is gonna be quite interesting... definitely a pitching dual. Congrats to the state of Texas for finally producing a team that made it to the big game.

Now, onto the real issue, Lee Mazzilli potentially in pin stripes? Discuss...

I believe he knows talent when he sees it and will do a better job than Mel.

First off... it's Leo Mazzone, not Lee Mazilli. Lee Mazilli is the former Met player/Yankee coach/Orioles manager. He'll probably be your bench coach again.

Leo Mazzone, on the other hand, is the great pitching coach of these great Braves teams. And, unfortunately for you and fortunately for me, he will be the Orioles pitching coach next year. Never thought I'd ever care about a pitching coach leaving a team. Now... if only someone can pry Schuerholz away from the Braves next...

Yea, whatever, I knew I screwed up the name after it was sitting in my head... they are too alike, lol.

I dont know man, Steinbrenner has a pretty fat wallet, and we all know... when it comes to winning, there is no expense George wont pay to keep winning.

Steinbrenner has nothing to do with it. Mazonne's going to Baltimore as reported by The Sporting News earlier this evening.

And Joe Girardi is going to be the manager of the Marlins.

Lameeeeeeeeeee...

Yank's need a fucking pitching coach, talk about beating a dead horse... the bullpen wasnt all that immaculate in the first place. They need to let these old people go and retire, and go scout some young stud's.
