I thought of Beirut as a place with a lot of violence because of the things you hear in the news. Boy was I wrong. The media can really give you a misplaced view of the world. When I arrived at the venue there were 4000 people cheering my name. And I had never been there before!! It was a fantastic party and a suburb production and I didn’t want to stop playing!! The next day we went to a cafe in Beirut to eat something and the people in the cafe were singing all my songs and still dancing. "

You were near Alex during Armin right? In the VIP area? I think Alex presented me to you (or was it Enjoy?) but I've seen too much people to remember all of them...sorry

Couple of things I disagree with, his view on IM, VIP washroom situation, etc. Brings up some good points about the need for bleachers, better planning and so on.

I agree with this 100%
"This is only mentioned to show that once an event gets too big, some corners are cut, in this case personal media services. Thankfully, this year, the paying public did not suffer as Bal organizers treated its clientèle with utmost professionalism, which is all that matters when one comes to party."
I never received my ticket in the mail only the VIP so when i got there I went to the info booth and the man working there handed me a piece of paper with my info etc and told me to line up in the VIP line and that paper is all they need to let me through. Well i waited in the VIP with my bf for 20 minutes and was turned away and was told that i needed to be lined up in the guestlist line up ....mmmm ok so we both headed in that direction...i looked at the line WOW huge!! so Ali just butted and went str8 to the lady on a computer and asked her if I could pick up my ticket there, she pointed to the INFO booth area ...and at this point i wanna just go back to the hotel!!! so we went back to the info booth and told the guy what happened...HE WALKED me back to the VIP entrance told the lady the screw up she gave me and Ali a wristband and shirts whihc i lost and he walked us all the way to the search area and we skipped to the first available security personnel for our searches and then he apologized and told us to have a good nite! wow that's something I never expected but that was very nice and professional of him ..merci beaucoup

Thing is some people dislike IM because they are like the tiesto of Psytrance or they just dislike psytrance, so many other reasons people probably can give you. If people dislike IM who cares, more space for me on the fucking dance floor HAHAHHAH.

hmm he doesn't say IM suck, he's just saying that the music speed isn't the same and might not suit everyone, its very honnest. to each his or her taste.
I have never seen IM before or even heard any of their music...i came back from the house room cuz Guetta was makin me sick and to be honest I thoroughly enjoyed their set...high energy WOW!! EVEN Ziad aka plump funk was beside me and we both looked at eachother and agreed that it was a refreshing sound!!!...he is right in the review tho after IM's speedy sound Armin beginning was a lil slow but meh u can't have everything ur way right...I had fun thats all I care about!

I still think it should of been...
Marco G - Nic F - Armin - IM - Preach
seems logical to me.
Armin easily can drop a Man With No Name tune seeing is a psytrance / goa artist or could ot dropped Tranan at the end of his set.
IM good of ended the set with god who knows what that Marilyn Manson tune I hear them play so often.
But thats me.

I agree with your lineup Jester. Marco G and Nic did the same stuff (pretty much) and IM & Preach were doing hard stuff. Armin would have been the transition between the 2 duos
