Not hard to program when the entire API is built into the IDE.

Meh, you will be using an IDE anyway in a job. Might as well get used to doing that side of things, too.

Really, it would seem rude to call you anything else than 'kid'; other than, perhaps, a donkey-brained idiot. I suppose that works too, though.

negative. i may be immature at times. i dont have the iq of 100. dont insult me like that. im paying 7K. this course was so competitive to get into, only 16 students are allowed and there were 34 students total out of Many that applied and didn't get in. even though the requirements are basic computer skills. i am blessed to be in this program.

So basically you will come out of this ready to be a code monkey and knowing nothing apart from Java and OO. No algorithm analysis, no OS foundations, no discrete math.

He did not answer if he liked pizza or not.

I am going to guess, by default, as pizza is awesome, that he will enjoy the pizzas.

Im even jealous....slightly.

True indeed, but when I was coming up, we had to write syntax-perfect C/C++ before attempting to compile/run, forcing you to understand the requirements from the compiler. Even in Java as well. IDE's started getting more popular later on and everyone loved them, but from a teaching perspective Eclipse is holding your hand the entire time.

His professor is telling him he can hack anything with Linux too, so he's already at a disadvantage.

Seriously. Why are any of you responding to this dimwit.

First time ever using that word, by the way. And last.
