bleh, you obviously don't watch italian football. The rome fans (lazio and roma) are amongst the worst in europe for racism, disrupting games and generally being a pain in the arse.
Imo there is a huge difference between whistling at a player - who is the 'supposed' main threat from the opposition - to put him off his game and making monkey noises to a player simply because he's black, it's a disgrace, and it's embarrasing for me having an italian background, to be associated with scum like this. |
well, no I've not seen a lot of matches with Roma. My sources are cousins (so I share your embarrasment ) and friends living in Rome, and they say that Lazio fans are facists and so on while Roma fans are a bit nicer. But then again, most of them are Roma fans themselves...
So you're perfectly right, not relaiable source.
Still think they should behave better if Totti would lead the way though.
Bit of information: They wistled at Ronaldo mainly for his intervju where he said Juve is going good in Serie A only because of the refs. And after the canceled goal by Chievo yesterday even the most naive Juve fan must be having doubts... Most of them are laughing though.
But yeah, you are right, racism is a lot worse than wistling. But neither wanted imo.
And on topic a bit:
HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAAA (awwwww, sorry, Real is a nice team. would have prefered to beat them in the final and send Milan out here)
