I don't think so, what I'm getting at is people who say it's okay to go get fucked up if they are "there for the music" but then come down on people who get fucked up for the sake of getting fucked up...there's no real difference.

If I do a pill, it's because I want to get high! There will probably be music involved but that doesn't really change the fact that I am doing it to get fucked up.

Hm, yeah I can see how it would be interpreted that way and I see what you mean there.

I'm not disputing there's no difference...but wouldn't you agree it makes our scene a bit less credible when it's full of people who's main goal when going out is just to get fucked up? I really do believe so.

I agree it's preferable to be out with people who are educated about the music and "part of the scene" but ultimately, those people get as fucked up as anyone else I find.
