I finally got around to listening to both Behrouz parts, I will say the first part I enjoyed quite a bit. Behrouz keeps a nice groovy yet danceable beat. Lots of warmth, melodies and well emotion. (whatever)
The second half really did nothing for me. I find it actually had a handful of overplayed tracks, and only caught my attention in the end. (too little too late for me) That one guitar tune from like the 70's was cool, but still the set didn't blow me away 1/10 of it did you guys. He continues to be the most overated DJ for me, just personal preference really. I have faith one day he'll convince me otherwise!
And after listening to a handful of these WMC sets now (over 8 I think), the Guetta set is the best "party tunes" one. Although shitty quality you really get a sense of what the WMC is all about. (bastards) |
I agree with you on part1 seeming better then part2. And so far my fav set of WMC thus far is Juicy Beach From Nikki Beach WMC, 22-03-07 with Robbie Rivera and all, just can't seem to turn this one off.
