I am losing weight as well, although not by adopting vegetarianism.
It's great to feel lighter. I'd like to get down to my end of high school weight.

It's awesome to feel lighter. I have dropped so much weight so quickly because of both exercise and veganism. You can't just rely on one of them to achieve the results you need.

You really are a fucking idiot sometimes. You can't rely on one of them because you clearly have self-control problems you're blaming on meat. Currently I drink 4 litres of milk a week, eat 12 eggs a week and consume meat in at least two meals every day - an exceptionally un-vegan diet - and I'm getting excellent results in losing fat and preserving lean muscle mass.
The problem with cheesy, salty, greasy meat-based junk food is not the meat. It's the grease, the fat, the empty calories and the addictive additives. If you can't control your urge to scoff that shit without renouncing meat altogether, then the problem has nothing to do with the food or your metabolism, and everything to do with your mind.
Yeah, I am losing weight while eating meat with most meals.
Simply cutting out the empty calorie crap foods (chips, cheese crackers, etc.) has shaved a few hundred calories off of my average daily consumption. Plus I burn a bunch of calories at work, which happens late at night on an empty stomach.

That is such a crock of fucking shit, and exactly why I despise fat pieces of lazy fucking useless shit like that.

To reduce fast food consumption, it helps not to walk into any fast food restaurants or send anyone else there for you.

I've found walking there hurts my hips and ankles. Fortunately, my clinical obesity diagnosis has allowed me to get a Hover-Round Scooter at little to no cost to me. No more walking, for me.
A couple of years ago I lost about 10-15 pounds in the span of 2.5 weeks and guess what? Meat was one of the only things I was eating. Lean, white chicken meat. No exercise, no vegan-ism.

Yeah, I decided to cut out chocolate, alcohol and fizzy drinks from my diet and eat smaller, regular meals. I try and make animal-derived protein the source of as many of my daily calories as possible. It preserves lean mass and it also fills you up. Three boiled eggs amount to about 240 calories, but they'll fill you up for hours. A chocolate bar with double that number of calories will leave you hungry again in an hour.

In that case:
To reduce fast food consumption, it helps not to walk into, drive into, drive up to, or otherwise enter or approach any fast food restaurants, or send anyone else there for you.
