If Harper knows what is good for him, he will try and work on making the system better, while allowing people to choose private health care.

Plus didn't the idea of Universal Healthcare come out of Alberta many decades ago? If something doesn't work out, we still have the GG that can squash Harper.

No surprise there. The next two years will be interesting for the Liberal Party. I don't see them electing a new leader in the next two years as there is no rush to do so. They will let Bob Rae be the house leader since he is the senior guy but I don't think he will become the next leader of the Liberal Party. Before the election I thought you might see a combining of the liberal and NDP but with the NDP having such a strong showing I don't see that happening now. I do think we will see Justin Trudeau emerge as the new leader of the Liberals. I would prefer him to have another election under his belt before being the leader but I think he is the only choice at this time, unless someone surprises people in the next two years.
