lol... i don't remember exactly what we played... although our style is definitely unlike anyone elses... we just didn’t have enough time to get into everything... as for us playing all the big tunes.. I remember mecha’s set and seeing his track listing... lol... as a matter of fact between matt and I we own all of the records that he played... which in my opinion were probably some of the biggest tunes that release had received the two weeks prior to the invasion... if I remember correctly anyways... I have nothing but confidence in matty’s ability and in mine... everyone likes positive feed back… and I must admit I’m one of them... although I like the bad as well... helps me to learn as a dj... if I know what I’m doing wrong I can fix it... so thanks... i'll remember to mix in some lesser known tracks next time

I understand that you're upset, and it's unfortunate that you feel this way but then perhaps TA really isn't the place for you then. I hope you can find a place where people are more accepting of you and I mean this in the most sincere way. I've known both you and mecha since early 2002 now and was glad that you guys were able to come out and play for us at System. Each time I've met you guys in person you both have seemed like very nice people, why you have trouble getting along with some of the same people that have been at the same parties we've been to online is beyond me. Anyways, I hope eventually one day you guys will be at peace with yourselves and put all this anger aside.

Ok.. I've been sitting idle reading this shit and wondering when you would cross the line - it appears you just did. Distance myself from you? What do I OWE you? You always seem to find yourself in a pissing match with somebody when you don't get your way - it's a pattern that has repeated itself OVER and OVER again and frankly I'm sick of it. Actually it's not all about connections. Mike(Shryer) has been a TA a lot less than you, so obviously has a lot less connections than you. Or maybe he has more connections than you on TA, but you DEFINITELY had more opportunity to create those connections as you've been here much longer. But connections aside, as far as I know Mike had the best set at Tribe tent during WEMF. And his Invasion set kicked ass as well.

Now I wasn't there for either you or Mike's set, but from reading reviews, people enjoyed his set far more than yours. Maybe you are a good mixer and truly a good DJ - but are people interested in your music? Be honest? Will you attract more people than Mike? Again, be honest. So do you really think ESO should've book you ?

Having said that, connections kind of matter as well. Obviously when there is a "tie" between two great DJs, the one with better connections "wins". But what have you done to create those connections? You can do 10 good things(like organizing meet ups etc), but people will remember you for 1 bad thing(ie posts on this thread). I guess that's what happened in this case.

Now, regarding Swamper's post. I disagree with it. What's the big deal about putting a TA logo on a flyer? I seriously don't see the big deal.

It is true that you did introduce a lot of the TAs to each other back in 2001 but I really don't know what happened from then until now. It seems it all went to shit at some point. It was you that changed not the rest of TA. You really think that a mass of people just turned on you and you remained the same? You may have done "your part" before but you sure as hell turned it all around in the end. You organized meet-ups before but became lazy and others took over. You haven't been to a meet-up in a long time and everyone gets the feeling from you that you are beyond trance now and above anyone that listens to trance.

If you really want me to spell it out for you about why Peter told you he would book you but didn't? Its because you guys got bad feedback about your spinning and your demos but Peter was too nice to say anything and kept on telling you that you will get booked. The reason that he booked you the first time was because you booked him. He doesn't owe you anything anymore. One gig for one gig. Just because you booked him at Turbulence, he has to book you at every party now. You yourself know that that would be complete bullshit.
