right well let's see now, england need 129 to win, it will be up to warne i suspect to get the wickets hord and forst, if australia have any chance of victory.

Channel 4 lose home test match rights after this, I'll miss Mark Nicholas & Slater and the chance of people like Ian Smith cos they're funny but I won't miss Boycott, Greig & Atherton. Hopefully sky will replace bob willis with Nicholas, noticed on highlights yesterday they have greg blewett as well as lehmann now.
As for the game, well you'd think we'd win, but i dont want to be complacent. So gutting that this score could've been to win the entire ashes, because the oval always make pitches what turn, and of course we have noone who can turn it that well, so it always suits visiting teams

shame on harmison, but i have thought a couple of times throughout the series we might have been playing against sri lanka, appealing all over the place |
to be totally fair, You get players who appeal a lot, Warney being one of the biggest (bar sub-continent players) It's upto the umpires to get the decisions right. Katich was unlucky, feel bad for the guy as he worked his ass off there. I've said Bucknor looks dodgy for the last 12 months (He had a stinker of a match down in south africa where we batted through near dark skies for south africa to get given the light by him when it was clear blue skies & the brightest that match)
It's a shame some of the guys like tauffel, peter willey, bowden etc haven't been given the series, you want the best umpires regardless of where they're from
