Not exactly.

Alot of my Italian friends say that they only want to date Italians. No, i'm not saying that applies to ALL, I'm just saying that I know of some cases.

Yeah some cases. Some feel that their relationships will be more fulfilling and easier if they have a common background, upbringing and ways of thinking/doing. Some want some variety.

That is very true, and if that's the case for some people then that's fine, staying with the same backround I mean) I respect that and it's good for family wise and whatnot. But I think it's so much more awesome to date someone outside of what you are. ( If it doesn't mean it will start a clash/war between families) The learning, the expiriment the getting to know more about someone else, that you may not know about because you are of different backrounds.
