lol, are you telling me thats not the best example of a daft punk "sample"? So negative. Last night I read this thread and was amazed at the negativity. I've been a deadmau5 fan before most of you probably knew who he was. Came across this youtube video tonight and was blown away. Thought I'd post it here but told my self "these a-holes will find any reason to talk shit about such a brilliant mix" And wouldn't you know it.
p.s. You assuming I wouln't know daft punk has been mixed alot is a pretty lousy presumption on your behalf. I've been a EDM fan since 99. Maybe you have been since "1901" are whatever your elitest mindset might tell you but whateva.

It's garbage "electro" with a massive hands in the air buildup. Most of us don't care for it. It's been done before more tastefully. You find it brilliant, good for you, other people find that tired and predictable. I was buying deadmau5 tracks like 1981 back when we were still pronouncing it "dead-mao-five".
Also, I didn't assume anything, it was a comment on the fact that daft punk remixes, reworks, edits and accapellas have been done to death, ESPECIALLY since their recent spate of U.S. touring. Hell even Kanye West jumped on the bandwagon.
Finally, people who have a different opinion than you are not "elitists", unless you'd like me to call you a "Deadmau5 elitist".

I find two things wrong with this sentence. One is to do with semantics, the other is to do with spelling the same word differently. |
LOL forgot this was a spelling and grammar forum my bad.

There's a big difference between bashing someone who is more successful than you and giving a reasonable/respectful opinion.
