i've been on a Luke Fair kick the last few days, and i still think absolutely nothing comes close to his sets from 2005-2006.

i will agree. there's a lot more "Nu Disco" scattered throughout his sets. he's on that kick lately. i suppose he might grow out of it sooner or later.

at the same time, it's not terrible, by any means. just definitely not what we had 3-4 years ago.

nu disco? shit, i'd be happy with that. he seems to be playing more tech house and progressive house these days. darker stuff... makes me cry.

Hasn't Luke Fair always dabbed a bit in prog/tech?

"Grace of God" is pretty killer though, just bought it off Amazon.

he's always been pretty versatile... but if you listen to his stuff from 2005-2006 it's mostly epic feel-good summery house, lots of diva vocals and pianos. nothing "tech" about it, and even the stuff that got techy was never dark-moody-techy.

sorry, i go on this rant probably far too often. nostalgia has taken hold.
