Made Event proudly presents the New York stop of German trance superstar ATB’s Future Memories album release tour at Pacha NYC on Friday, June 19, 2009.
As electronic music grows into an increasingly global phenomenon, it is without a doubt that ATB belongs in the elite of the global electronic community. Traveling to different countries every week while creating timeless music along the way, ATB has reached the point of global success, while keeping both feet firmly on the ground and never losing sight of his fans and quality trance music.
It seems hard to believe, but a decade has passed since ATB made waves with his Movin Melodies album. 10 years, in which he has traveled the globe over and over, mesmerizing his fans the world over with his unique DJ sets. A decade which provided no less than 8 albums including the newest LP Future Memories. The album comes just in time to lighten up our summer days and nights with exquisite electronic music, melodic yet pulsating.
In describing the album ATB states that his methodology was different this time around. “Unlike the last album, which was very much based on classic songwriting and real instruments, Future Memories has more of a focus on keyboards and synthesizers again. I wanted to get back to my roots in electronic sounds.” Future Memories contains 26 tracks on two CDs. The first features driving, melodic club music, the second takes on a more ambient style.

Haven't seen this posted yet, so I figured I'd share 
The Beach Party, LIC is back for its fourth year at Water Taxi Beach in Long Island City. What initially started as a low-key, Saturday night hang at the sandy East River outpost has turned into one of the biggest parties New York has to offer. But while luminaries of dance music like Prins Thomas and Grandmaster Flash have performed, and while the residents are New York all-stars DJ Probus, Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin (who's making his Water Taxi debut this summer), the party still maintains a casual spirit and remains a great vibe. Big or small, there’s nothing like sipping a beer, having a hamburger and checking out the amazing view of the skyline in between dancing to great music.

Pacha NYC presents Toolroom Knight NYC with resident DJ Mark Knight, along with Dirty South and Exacta on Friday, June 26th, 2009, on the tails of Knight's much-anticipated Toolroom Knights mix compilation. With 2 CD's packed full of exclusives and killer tracks, it'll jump start the summer clubbing season.
Just when you think you know an artist, they creep up on you with something a little out of the ordinary and leave you scratching your head. Then you have Toolroom Knights mixed by Mark Knight 2.0, which is less about stealth and rather a full on frontal attack that will hammer through any previous boundaries you may have created for the next iteration of the Toolroom Records chief. The result isn’t head scratching either, but more likely to be burst ear drums and sore dancing feet, as we’re treated to a genre-busting feast of electronic music that refuses to be pigeonholed and is sourced from the deepest and most obscure corners of Mark’s own personal Toolroom. The double-compilation includes exclusive tracks from Mark Knight, Leftfield, Faithless, John Digweed & Nick Muir, Audiofly, X-Press 2, Tiger Stripes and D-Formation.
Dirty South aka Dragan Roganovic's prolific productions have propelled him into onto the worldwide stage of DJing with much aplomb. His catalog of remixes already includes a GRAMMY nomination and work for a wide range of revered artists such as; Depeche Mode, Mark Ronson, Tracey Thorn, Snoop Dogg, Roger Sanchez, Josh Wink, Tiësto, Chris Lake, Fedde Le Grande, Ferry Corsten and an upcoming one for U2. Last year his double-CD Toolroom Knights compilation included his own "Minority", which also earned him one of several Pete Tong's 'Essential New Tune' designations. Keep an ear out for his latest stormer, "Meich" with Sebastian Ingrosso this summer. Now armed with his trademark house grooves and his uncanny ability to dish up ready-made dancefloor bombs, Dirty South joins Knight & Exacta for an explosive night.

Dave Dresden, DJ and producer formerly of Gabriel & Dresden, continues his prolific production work with new partner: Mikael Johnston. Dresden continues to relish the opportunity to work with others. “I’m not afraid to say I'm a collaborator. That's who I am,” says Dresden. “Being in G&D sort of created these huge shoes that I have to fill that’s why I’ve done a lot of collaborations with people that I admire and respect their production skills.” Already citing two Billboard Hot Club Play chart toppers with remixes for Lily Allen’s “The Fear”, and Nadia Ali’s “Love Story,” Dresden along with his studio partner Mikael Johnston, are carving a well earned niche onto the dancefloor. The new team has just finished work on BT’s “Unbreakable” with vocals from The Catherine Wheels Rob Dickenson, “A Better Man” by up-and-comer JD Webb, a new Katy Perry remix, and are wrapping up their remix of The Crystal Method’s “Black Rainbows”.
Dave Dresden is a veteran in the dance music industry with stints in radio, journalism and his successful partnership with Josh Gabriel, which led to 18 No. 1 positioned singles and remixes on Billboard's Club Play Chart.

An artist who seems to be everywhere at the moment is back this month after his successful Cannibals debut. Everyone’s favorite Berlin/Detroit transplant Seth Troxler is further proving why Resident Advisor had chosen him as an artist to watch for in 2009. He has provided dance floors with a string of smash hits on leading labels like Wagon Repair, Spectral Sound, and Crosstown Rebels. His latest the 'Aphrika' EP on Brooklyn's Wolf + Lamb Music is two parts. The namesake on part one is rife with poetic justice with words borrowed from Maya Angelou's "Phenomenal Woman" and part two from Nicolas Jaar is a minimal techno stormer with a remix by Seth. With DJ dates at some of the best clubs the world over, this rising star is quickly cementing his place as one of techno’s most original and forward thinking representatives. Another Detroit transplant, Eric Cloutier will provide the support on this night. Eric has been quite busy of late with a constant DJ schedule and a new EP on the way Eric is finding himself amongst New York’s techno elite.
