So how does he determine that iron comes from a thermite reaction, and not simply a component of the building itself. He doesn't. This "visual evidence" from the towers could be many other things than a thermite reaction. You know, a plane loaded with thousands of gallons of jet fuel hit the building, SURPRISE! His theory has more holes than swiss cheese.

So, how is a CIA guy advocating a new investigation any evidence whatsoever of a conspiracy. It isn't. I'm all for an independent investigation, but don't trump this as if it proves something.

WTC 7 collapsed due to poor design of its fire suppression system, massive structural damage to its south face and most likely the collapse of a critical supporting column that caused an immediate and severe re-distribution of its weight across the rest of the damaged and weakened building.
