Actually, that was the coin I got when I started my weather officer course...our wx course started on the one year anniversary of Katrina making landfall (which nearly destroyed Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS). [one of my buddies was stationed there (for his weather course) when Katrina hit too...the pictures he showed me...ugh, so depressing]

i had a lot of photos printed out; and i'm going to give thme to the previous owner (along w/ the ashes/pawprint). i'm also going to blow up one and put it in my office.

and yeah, i won't get an *old* dog (although, i didn't know how old Codie was until i actually got her...); but i don't want a pup. 4 years old is good, me thinks.

i had a turtle for a bit too.. yes they smell and they dont do anything execpt live forever...
