I see Valentino Rossi taking over for Schumi down the line. Yes the Moto GP racer...he has tested the Ferrari I belive twice and is learning F1 as we speak. Ferrari is also desperate for him too...its either him or someone like him...Schumi is Ferrari F1 but I know that Ferrari would like a more flamboyent cocky driver...Montoya like although dont think that would happen plz god no

hey dumbass vodafone is retiring from ferrari

However this is just weird. I can't picture neither of them in those cars, it's like the personalities don't fit the teams.

yeah me neither

They have changed the 2006 calender the first race is in Bahrain on 12th March.

Rumours going round about Coca-Cola moving with Ferrari if this becomes true then it should be one of the biggest endorsements F1 will ever see. I hope to see Vale Rossi take over from the superb Schumacher in 2007 if that also happens. Looks like we have some interesting stuff to look forward to.

Forza Ferrari

Yeah, out of all the rumours I gotta say Rossi in a Ferrari is probably the most exciting.
Agreed with whoever that said Alfonso doesn't really fit the McLaren mould, dunno why but I agree, I can't imagine it either.

I'm really looking forward to next year, probably more than this season just finished (which I was also excited for).
Jordan -> Midland
Minardi -> Squadra Toro Rosso
Sauber -> BMW Sauber
BAR -> Honda
Nico Rosberg and Mark Webber in what should be an interesting Williams team, no major sponsor as yet, new engines. Very interested to see how they fare this year.
I think many of the changes occurring for next year will change F1 for the better with more, stronger teams. I don't agree with the changes to the engines, I'm impartial to the changes back to tyre changes, and am dissappointed with the desire of F1/FIA to go back to one tyre supplier (which ultimately resulted in Michie pulling out).

The new qualifying format looks interesting too, maybe this year they will actually stick with one format for the entire season.

And the new CDG wing being proposed for 2008, if it achieves what they hope, we could see a return to the old style drafting battles, good tough close racing.

Still, gonna be a big year methinks.

I'm very happy to hear, that Poland has a man in F1 now! Robert Kubica is now a test driver in Sauber BMW Team! That's great opportunity for him to get some experience and maybe start his F1 driver career next season.
