Does anyone else think it's pretty stooopid he's playing Canberra first, then jetting over to Melbourne for a farkin 3am gig? I mean seriously, I remember when Tiesto did that, and he looked slightly exhausted and the crowd was a bit flat by then, and it wouldn't have helped him play his best gig.

Melbourne hasn't seen PVD in three and a bit years- heaps of us won't have ever seen him! Hardware could at least present a refeshed and pumped up PVD after so long, and at a peak time slot!

Ah no matter, I'm sure the elation will kick in when he drops his first track.

unfortunately this has been the case with pvd since 2002 when he did QBH and One perfect day. He pretty much completed his australian leg in four days. Melbourne has always been on the ass end of the tour as well so i am dissapointed that he's got canberra the same day. Im sure he'll belt one out for you Vee

Coz if he doesn't

so what, melbourne automatically gets priority over everyone else? thats a bit bollocks i reckon. as far as i know canberra has never seen pvd and i think its awesome he's taking the city in.

it's certainly strange that of sydney, melbourne and sydney, no-one really gets a prime headliner timeslot, but of all places canberra gets the best time. I'm guessing that he'll sell out any gigs in the bigger cities regardless.
I'm just glad the sydney gig isn't at SOS this time.

I think 3am is PERFECT time slot!

Im sure PVD will DELIVER! (he better)

Im sure it'll be INTENSE as well!
hahaha

as taken from Matts interview with him from ITM:

quote:
“I’ve always played diverse sounds, I don’t play trance. I play for myself, and I play all the elements of electronic music that I enjoy. 98% of all trance records…” he pauses. “I can’t stand most trance, to be honest. If I were to only play trance, I would be so bored, you know? A cheesy break, some awful female vocal, and then off we go again! Things have to be intense, if it’s a vocal it has to be intense, it has to actually be good. Music has to be intense, it has to reach me. Every single song. That’s the musical range that I work with.”

My friend followed him through the whole tour, he was cactus by the end too. If it was the same situation back in 2003 then I am not at all concerned about the double booking as he went off
