Hey all,

Haven't really said anything about myself before so...

I'm 21 on 1st July, a student and just about to start my 3rd and final year at Winchester Uni in September, and very poor as a result but have a wonderful girlfriend called Steph!

I think the first trance track I heard was Planet Perfecto's 'Bullet in the gun' and it went on from there!

Trance is amazing and it's great to read so many other young people getting into it.

Current listening to tracks include:

Chicane - Locking Down
Tom Porcell - Final Cut
Thomas Bronzwaer Close Horizon (Original Mix)
Underworld - Born Slippery (Paul van Dyk remix)

All time favourite artists include:

Too many to mention... but Chincae, PvD and Matt Darey are up there!

**

This all makes good reading people. I hope more are being introduced to trancEaddict everyday!

Hi everyone!

Yeah well as you can see I'm from France...sorry about that, hope you won't start bashing me just for that already

I'm 24 years old, have always been an EDM addict (it all started around 1989 when I was 8 years old and listened to Technotronic - Pump Up The Jam!!)

I like most styles...trance, hardtrance, progressive, techno, hardhouse, hardstyle, hardcore, jump, ambient etc

I go to very few parties in France because the scene sucks here (except for a new club in Lyon, John O'Callaghan, Gabriel & Dresden, Misja Helsloot, Rank1 have played there! as well as cool clubs in the North of France, hardstyle/jump).
So most of the time I party in either the NL, UK, Germany or Belgium!

I still live in France but I'm going to study in England in September (computer networking, year 2 of a Bachelor degree)so...I'd better prepare my stay and make myself known on UKTA because I imagine I will lurk here pretty often in the near future!

I'm not sure where I will study yet actually. Need to make a decision by 7 July, anyone kind enough I could ask advice to? Or if you know some good message boards where I can get uni reviews, all that kind of stuff..

Is it really safe being French in England btw.....?
I'm reading Stephen Clarke's A Year In The Merde at the moment, dunno if you've heard of this book, but it's fucking hilarious!
Now I'm looking for something of the same kind but the opposite : about a Frenchman living in England
