Keitel did a great job warming up the crowd!
Really enjoyed Digweeds first hour, he started off with some wicked tunes (Romboys new remix, Scsi 9's new track).

Good to see the regular TAs there.

do you know what the actual names of those tracks are? I thought Digweeds first hour was awesome but Sasha's second hour was the best.

Would love to get my hands on some of those tracks!

Oh, no shit, you guys are TA's? Damn, should said something earlier, I thought you had a big crew and was even going to ask!
I was behind you in line and felt a little intimidated approaching a group, so I just chatted to the other dude that was there by himself, ended up with a cool Maltese party buddy. I had a white shirt and brown hat on, dark skin with a beard. I make sure I say hello next time

Anyway, First.. I arrived in Melbourne just hours before, so I was a bit tired, but still pumped.
One of the first ones inthere, meeting a few nice people, the place looked AMAZING!!! I knew it was goign to be a good night! Queensbridge looks HOT! Very happy with the venue!

I heard some pretty decent tracks, but nothign that made me bust a nut. I barely danced, but had fun watching everyone have a good time. Prolly woulda enjoyed it more if I was out on the floor with more alcohol in my system. For the most part, the music was a bit boring as the vibe would come alive only when there was a small break and the bassline kicked back in, then the vibe died again.

Maybe I was expecting more. I knew the Sasha & Digweed of old, but this was my first time actually seeing them, and i was disappointed really. I expected more buildups and breakdowns, nothign too trancey, but was waiting for more trancier elements like they used to throw down. Just didn't happen, and didn't do it for me.
I left before 5am, as I didn't see much, if any, progression of the music from when they started, until then.

And yes, would someone please tell those guys to liven up on stage! It's amazing how much a crowd feeds off a dj, but when they're standing around lookinglike they're playing computer games, it's not that fun to watch.

What that venue needs is a couple more speaker stacks at the back of the dancefloor. The suspended speakers from the roof shoul dbe facing out to the sides, while providing more stacks facing the floor at the back at gorund level will really help keep the sound contained

Oh ya, on more thing... Anyone else notice the severe lack of women too? WTF!! I thought Melbourne has the most beautiful girls in Australia? Where were they all?

Overall... I still had a fun night!!! Glad I came and spent every last dime I have to make it there! Can't wait for the next one.

And there's the difference between dancing and just listening.
I like to party all night, but the music has to keep me just as entertained as on the dancfloor, as when chillin and listening... and that's what trance does for me.

Usually at a trance party I'm chilled back enjoying the music, then a track will come out of nowhere, bring me onto the floor and keep me there for the rest of the night... Albeit, Sasha and Digweed did come close to doing it, but just didn't quite capture me.
Like I said, more booze & women woulda definatley brought me onto the floor, the music didn't
