sasha used to be the bomb, when he had his own sound and actually cared about djing. Now he rides the coattails and tries to jump on whatever is hot, he was 2 years behind electro when he jumped on the bandwagon with fundacion, and now he is behind the minimal train. his live in l.a. cd is horrible. if you guys want to hear better djs than sasha, just go check out your local minimal djs, they are all better and more original than sasha is and playing way newer tracks. its a shame becasue he used to be amazing. Everybody thinks the tracks sasha plays are good because these fans have never heard this stuff before, but minimal djs and electro djs before that are months ahead of his track selection.

one of the most amazing nights i had in montreal, was sasha and steve porter at aria when it was decorated like a military base. that was when sasha was amazing. I have alot of good sasha memories including partying with him one night at my friends apartment in boston, but he has really fallen off.

wow you make quite a good point there, strong arguement. listen sasha had a major influence on me back in the day, but he is simply not the same anymore. I remember seeing sasha and digweed at twilo and it was some of the greatest stuff ever. he is responsible for alot of my greatest clubbing memories, but he just doesnt have the stuff anymore. hopefully he can do something amazing once more like airdrawndagger and make me a fan again.

Involver was amaizng, Fundacion was good, his Avalon CDs were also good.

I have listened to I would say nearly every single live set from Sasha this year and have not been dissapointed by a single one, its funny how so called fans like yourself can turn on him so quickly. Sasha is changing his mixing technique again, the music will come next, just as he did with his albeit much slower transition from Vinyl to CDs.

Sasha is the biggest douche bag in the world but he's still one of the best djs imo. I dont give a shit if ppl say his mixing isnt as good as it used to be or some silly nonesense like that, he plays what ppl wanna hear and dance to.

i dont think he is a douche bag either, the only time we hung out he was a great guy. mashed like potatoes but very nice none the less. im sure he will get back to form soon. I have seen sasha more times than most who would disagree with me i bet. i have seen him in boston, new york, montreal, and ibiza over the last 6 years. so im definitely a fan, just not of what he is doing right now. its just my opinion.
