Needless to say we were estatic when he was finally done and Second Sun took to the stage to do their live PA which I was really happy they were doing instead of just a DJ set. We saw them up close in Miami at the Pool Party and their performance was definitely one of the highlights for me. Once again they put on an amazing show blending live vocals, samples and part laptop DJ'ing. I have to say and I think everyone will agree that their re-work on the "This is not Miami > This is Toronto" track was awesome! What a way to get the local crowd into your performance if they weren't already! Awesome job guys! They also did a nice job on performing Depeche Mode's Dream on Live with their vocals and dropping some great trance tracks near the end.
soo agree! +1
I LOVED THEIR SET AND CROWD INTERACTION- THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!

Haha...she was meowing?...muahaha...the music too loud I guess for me to hear that...fumasa ftw!
I remember her talking randomly to people who were trying to push through us, though...muahaha...<3

btw - I kind of saw Second Sun near the end of their set and was one of them singing? b/c I was thinking...wow...he can actually sing!
and from the pics posted of KT - he looks delicious ...maybe I'll catch him the next time he comes back to T.O...from the sets I've been listening to of him...looks like I missed out on him too

maybe i'm crazy but i've seen oakenfold live many times, and this is the first time i've noticed him play banging+hard throughout the whole set.. which leaves me to speculate that he knew had to put on a show because of svd :P

Location: on the move - but sometimes Vancouver
I can't believe I was there - I have never had a club experience like that EVER. I know this is ridiculous but the show put on by the Guv was unreal....definately one of the highlights of my Toronto voyage - even made the flight seem like it was okay (I hate flying)
I was so blessed to get tix from Darren - thank you thank you thank you so so so much..........I owe a thousand free gigs...AND DINNER. Okay maybe slightly excessive but I am from Vancouver where the scene is in a sad stangnant stage and where the biggest club holds 900 cosily. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would see so much talent in one place on one night.
AND I got to go with one of my best friends - Rich you totally made the night so exciting and thank you for being my sleazy guy-dar and protecting me lol....I didn't really have a fave because each set had something different and special which really contributed to the beauty of the whole night. I really felt that the vibe was right, the music flowed really well and every act really did their thing. My Oakie FINALLY played like I remember him doing so very long ago. I was so proud....Kenneth was great and it was great to touch base with him afterwards - Mark Oliver owned and did it ever kick ass that the man threw down vinyl and was awesome!!!!
Aquaviva from the short period I could handle being in the sauna was really funky and innovative and just plain sick. Deep Dish did their thing - pretty predictable for them but they do what they do best so good on them. Crystal Method were far superior to when they did live pa in Calgary a few years back at the whiskey - SANDER VAN DOORN!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome eventhough I made a jack ass out of myself giving "Sander" a hug and telling him I thought he was brilliant not realizing that I actually gave some groupie a hug and Sander was already on the decks...I felt like that beer commercial. Sheesh.
I was so impressed with everything and maybe it is because the whole night was what I always knew the club experience was supposed to be. I really enjoyed meeting alot of the ta's although I don't really think any of you remember - I will try to post pics later
BIG BIG BIG HUGS FROM VANCOUVER
