I watch Westminster every year. I love dog shows....My old pug was a champion. The only dog I can't stand at dog shows are the poodles....I just hate the way they cut their hair.

My dog Taylin. I got her at the local Humane Society a year ago when she was 1. She already knew her name (Palin ) so I had to make it something that sounded like that lol. Apparently her previous owners thought that Siberian Huskies were from Alaska.

God I love huskies. If I were to get a bigger dog, it would definitely be a husky. They are beautiful and adorable as hell when they're young.

She is full grown now and only weighs about 40-45 lbs. Females tend to be quite a bit smaller than males. Really the only thing that is a problem with that breed is all the shedding, especially when they're going through their bi-yearly coat cycle. They even tend to live a very long time for their size. I read that the average life of a Husky is 15-16 years.
