how'd you manage to do that? no surprise, he's threatened to beat me up all the way down from texas, somehow reaching through the internet or something, and i don't even know the guy, lol. "i'm a chemistry major and everything i do is just so much more complex and important than your mundane existence. ever split an atom at CERN? well, i know the equation for it and you don't so you're nowhere near as interesting a person as myself. the equation is [my head is so far up my own ass + anger issues * working out so i'm no longer a fatass and therefore can kick everyone's ass / insecurity + immaturity].

winston i don't really have a problem with, he just had some serious breakdowns on the forums, and was friends with zild or something? he got invited slightly out of pity to a mutual friend's little 10-person NYE get-together that i was at and wouldn't acknowledge my existence for some reason, it was hilarious.

and yeah, we_r_dna needs to go. i can't say "go off the forums" since i'm a mod and am supposed to encourage membership, but "on extended hiatus" might be okay.

so appropriate on so many levels now for nefardec, too. "there are no apples and oranges; only fruits." GET IT?? haha. she's still cool shit though and has respectable taste in music even as avana though, i can't hate.

In May 2006, a committee of nine mathematicians voted to award Perelman a Fields Medal for his work on the Poincaré conjecture.[14] The Fields Medal is the highest award in mathematics;[citation needed] two to four medals are awarded every four years. However, Perelman declined to accept the prize. Sir John Ball, president of the International Mathematical Union, approached Perelman in Saint Petersburg in June 2006 to persuade him to accept the prize. After 10 hours of persuasion over two days, Ball gave up. Two weeks later, Perelman summed up the conversation as follows: "He proposed to me three alternatives: accept and come; accept and don't come, and we will send you the medal later; third, I don't accept the prize. From the very beginning, I told him I have chosen the third one... [the prize] was completely irrelevant for me. Everybody understood that if the proof is correct, then no other recognition is needed."[14] "'I'm not interested in money or fame,' he is quoted to have said at the time. 'I don't want to be on display like an animal in a zoo. I'm not a hero of mathematics. I'm not even that successful; that is why I don't want to have everybody looking at me.'"[23] Nevertheless, on 22 August 2006, Perelman was publicly offered the medal at the International Congress of Mathematicians in Madrid "for his contributions to geometry and his revolutionary insights into the analytical and geometric structure of the Ricci flow."[24] He did not attend the ceremony, and declined to accept the medal, making him the first person to decline this prestigious prize.[25][26]

He had previously turned down a prestigious prize from the European Mathematical Society,[26] allegedly saying that he felt the prize committee was unqualified to assess his work, even positively.[27]

On 18 March 2010, Perelman was awarded a Millennium Prize for solving the problem.[28] On June 8, 2010, he did not attend a ceremony in his honor at the Institut Océanographique, Paris to accept his $1 million prize. [29] According to Interfax, Perelman refused to accept the Millennium prize in July 2010. He considered the decision of Clay Institute unfair for not sharing the prize with Richard Hamilton,[5] and stated that "the main reason is my disagreement with the organized mathematical community. I don't like their decisions, I consider them unjust. "[6]

Perelman's proof was rated one of the top cited articles in Math-Physics in 2008.[30]

My advanced calculus professor told us about this guy, a few weeks ago. Apparently he's not very well off financially, nor in any kind of position to be turning down $1,000,000. Looks like another case of an Autism Spectrum Disorder rearing its ugly head.

Oh, what's that, Saka? Can I get you some more tea? WHY YES, PLEASE, I WILL HAVE A MUFFIN, PLEASE PASS THE EMPTY PLATE FULL OF IMAGINARY CONFECTIONS SO THAT WE MIGHT SIMULATE A DELIGHTFUL EXCHANGE IN THIS SICK, SOLIPSISTIC PLAYDATE YOU HAVE HASTILY ARRANGED WITH YOUR FAVOURITE STUFFED ANIMALS. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SAKA, WE ALL LOVE YOU. NOW WOULD YOU PLEASE SEW MR. TICKLES' EYE BACK ON, IT'S MAKING EVERYONE UNCOMFORTABLE!

OMGoodness On+On, you're so right.
The fact I haven't posted in months and then coming back around my birthday is a "MASSIVE coincidence". The fact I haven't cared about the people in the c0r for the last year or so, so as to visit regularly shows I do not care about a Birthday thread.
Although I'm sure many people do not have satisfying lives so they depend on the approval and net love from others they do not know, I'm fortunately one of the lucky ones who doesn't need this.
I see you probably being on off those who not only needs this, as I can imagine the post I have quoted here took you longer than 5minutes to write.
I imagine that in a real life situation you wouldn't answer even remotely similar to that in any discussion or argument presented.
You illustrate these 'word happy' presentations to make others laugh at posts, and your heart skips a beat when you read them, hence why for years you regularly visit the c0r and whore it out. Far more desperate than the ones you mock.

Seriously, thanks for noticing my birthday, it helps me realise that you obviously look through the list of birthdays every day to see those who you can brown nose with lovely messages, and in this case, try to shoot someone down, so as to appear 'big' to your c0r friends.

You are a c0r wh0re, in every sense.
