Damn you whiney people with your "oh I had to get up so early today".
Ya know what I say to that. Fuck you! be glad you are still young
I got up "late" today....6:45 am. Made it to work just before I was supposed to at 8. BUt I don't complain abotut getting up early anymore because the last 2 shops I worked at the day started at 7 which meant leaving at 6 am at the latest.
It is virtually impossible for me to sleep past 9 am now. Ever. Which actually is kind of nice on saturdays because I can go and get stuff done.
But I will get off of that soap box. Now to my aforepromised explanation as to why MrSquirrel is the axis around which the banshee thread spins.
If you were to go back and read the first dozen pages or so you would quickly see that daffodil (who doesn't love me anymore ), Orbax (who works at BestBuy 24/7 now ) and MrSquirrel (that is me ) were the driving force behind the thread. If you were to look at a map you would see that daff lives in the netherland known as "Virginia" and Orbax lives in the woods of "Washington". MrSquirrel lives between them in the cosmopolitan realm of "Illinois". As the thread got larger, it gained people from the west coast and people from teh east cost but in general, the only constant in the centroid (technical term) was the crazy rodent .
And then you look at what the general scheme of posts is, MrSquirrel is always a constant. When MrSquirrel meets people from TA (like at PVD) it is "oh form the banshee thread" and such.
It is just interesting. Then you add to it the fact that my Sig-Fu is plastered all over the thread, it all falls into place. In some bizzaro universe, daff is probably my wife and Orbax is the red-headed stepchild
I know that was a bit pompous....and I am not usually that way. But it came to me in a moment of "clarity" (or "madness" depending on how you look at it) late yesterday.
I need to go get new insoles for my work boots. Will wait till rush hour is over though.
