stop losses do happen to people... and thats a lot of typing which i'll pass on explaining..

i'll explain my situation b/c thats revelant..

in 2003 i signed up for 3 years active w/ that comes 8 years of MOS(military service obligation) which everybody has to do... everybody does 8 years..

so the 3 active and the other 5 would be with the inactive reserve which means that you are on a list if ever needed... nothing like the national guard or regular reserve which does 1 weekend a month and 2 weeks a year.. this "list" is 99% civilian and never has to do anything but report for 2hrs a year to show that you are still alive..

well every now and again they call people from that "list" b/c some units that are going are short people... during my entire active time i never heard of any stories or knew anybody that this happened to... we all knew it can happen but it just never did..

well im that guy... lucky me..

there are actual ways to get out of it without bringing a sloppy purple dildo into the picture...

but i dont have some super high paying job here thats worth fighting for... and ive been to iraq already so i know the deal... the only bad part is that its a year... i could care less about getting blown up or getting shot at.. b/c that isnt a real possibility.... its not like the news..
