Play was the peak. 18 was good, not great, but good. I enjoyed bits and pieces of Hotel and I thought when he played here live for the Hotel tour that it was a fantastic show.
But fucks sake, the last two or three years... ugh. I could stand to see and hear that same shit from Armin, Tiesto, etc., because they've always been doing it. But to see someone who used to be incredibly anti-corporate/anti-"the man", who was an amazing producer and pretty decent DJ just do a total 180... fuck.
I guess that sounds like the normal case for a lot of artists, though. I'm just more disappointed about this because I used to be the biggest fan and he is probably the most influential artist in terms of putting me 'where I am right now.'
