don't order anything that expensive outside of EU if you live in EU. you'll going to have to pay shitloads of taxes and it'll end up being so much more than it would cost there in holland! check out the netherlands' customs site for more info, but i believe it's pretty much the same in finland and holland, because this is a thing regulated by the european union! so be careful when you order something!

well.. you didn't read everything i see, can't blame you for that, lots of text.. i'm NOT going to buy those, shipping costs and taxes.. and i found my mom's old turntabel, (technics, pretty old but still very nice, no pitch ) so i decided to buy 1 (2nd hand) technics, and a basic mixer, i've seen some technics for 300 (not as opening bid, but as 'direct buy') so that must be do-able with my budget..

eventualy i'll replace the old technics with an other 'new' technics

i read it all, but for the future it's good to know, if you think abot ordering something expensive from outside of EU.

If you wan't to buy new techs, never ever buy them in holland. They are overpriced here (the official dealers sell them for 700 euro ex taxes). You better should check some german sites, i've seen sites selling them for 500 euro or les incl taxes, ex delivery (probably 30 euros). I ordered my techs also in germany, and it can save you a lot of $$$$

techs are the way to go, but like robin sed, they r way to expensive for 15 - 16 year olds, iam just gona learn on my ok tables, flog them when i have the money for some techs

im gonna give you an honest opinion. When i was 11, i wanted turntables, so i considered getting a crap set, like gemini or numarks. heh at age 16 (now) i finally got one technics, and im still waiting for the other. Im VERY happy i got the technics. If youre going to get turntables, dont start off with the stanton str8-30's. At least get numark TT-200's or Gemini PT-2400's.

Or think about a ST90 from Stanton, nice tt if you ask me.
