well youre the expert tranz.
Which helps me somewhat more on my decision.
I'm pretty much going to buy either: Pioneer DJM-600, Vestax PMC-37Pro or an Allen and Heath xone 32 (or possibly a 62). its just that I think that maybe the xone is too much for home dj use? Well I'll look to your recommendation. I know the vestax is directed more toward scratching, but I heard it was a solid mixer regardless. |
ha, Vestax are POS. they were good last century literally, the 1998-99 models were quite good, but now, just a bunch of crap. We at djmart, even stopped carrying the brand. No parts available, especially the crossfaders, sound quality oops I what am I saying there is NO sound quality lol!, forget djm mixers exist, unless Pioneer changes it's way of thinking about not upgrading the units, all djm mixers will be absolete, everything is 24bit digital and up. I can get you Tascam in the mid $900s, Rane Empath for $820.00, Xone 32 for $620.00 or Xone62 for $1050.00 all NIB.

If money is tight, get the Heath XONE 32. If not, get the 62.

Anyone have anything good to say about the Roland DJ-2000 mixer??? Some asked if I was interested in it |
I believe that Roland has discontinued that model and stopped making DJ mixers fot that fact. DJ2000 is even older than Pioneer DJM600, but between the two, I'd take the Roland DJ2000.
for Dateq person. Dateq mixers can only be purchased by someone who lives in Holland, they don't allow outside of the country sales. There was a post about a guy in Germany or England that wanted Dateq mixer and they said NO SALE outside of Holland. They are however, excellent mixers, but I think Allen and Heath mixers perform just as good and at a much cheaper cost, . Both mixers are made for big sound system, so I would not suggest getting A&H nor Dateq mixer for a bedroom DJ, unless you have an extremely loud and clean system. For a bedroom DJ, I suggest Rane Empath, Tascam X-9(personal favorite), Rane TTm56i(2ch)Numark PPD9000(to be released very shortly)
