why in the hell is everyone so surprised about that? if you are just playing other peoples music and not PAing you are just a human jukebox, and if you cant walk through NYC without getting recognized i think that borders on popstar. sure, DJs are vastly superior to most jukeboxes, but still...

and Oakie was doing this years ago with seemingly less hype- tho i wasnt a TA back then. now everyone hates him|
