Nothing But You was hardly 'underground' in the first place, was it?

I know I've already said this, but I don't get why everyone cries when Paul doesn't immediately release his latest tunes or remixes. If you were a big DJ/producer, why would you want to immediately release your latest tracks? So everyone in the world can play your stuff out before you even get a chance? He does what he does with his songs remixes because, if you want to hear NBY (original Mix) or Space Brothers - Everywhere I go, you have to see PvD. It's a pretty simple concept, and since he's not hurting for money, it makes perfect sense. People also have to realize that with the resources we have, being able to stream live sets from big events, we can hear a DJ's new tune the first time they play it, which is usually months before they release it anyway.

That's my theory anyway.

Later

To the general population, it was. To starfox and tranceaddict.com, it wasn't.

Yeah this reminds me.... I went shopping with a couple of girls yesterday and we went into Abercrombie & Fitch (it was their idea) and i hear this bassline intro and i was like hmmm will this be a trance song? So it got more into the song and it sounded real commercial then finally the nothing but you tune came in i was like wat the hell? It was definitley a shitty remix but i guess it was kinda cool going into different stores in the mall and a few of them had club music playing.

Could it have been Hemstock and Jennings's original 'Arctic'? This song has a very different sound from NBY, it's a bit more complex, but not necessarily better. I personally think the song is a bit uneven... but that's me. Esepcially immediately after the breakdown, that weirdo synth comes in... but that's just me. But still, to hear trance in the US is awesome!!! I would love to hear that as well... although A&F does seem to play a good amount of EDM, another place that plays some good stuff is Buffalo (expensive designer place, dunno much about it, was drawn to it because they were playing some EDM )

I think Paul doesn´t care what some ppl are saying at this forum about him... He just cares about the crowd reaction @ the party he plays the tune.... And it´s a killer tune and the crowd seems to love it so he did a great job the unreleased mix is of course better but it´s still a good track

Nothing but you has unfortunately been overhyped. It's a great song, but not for the radio. It should be played in clubs, nowhere else!

Paul needs to listen to his critics....and his fans...

then again...he will make a fortune with this and get his name out to a wider audience....even more than before.

I remember hearing PvD - Tell Me Why, when I went into a boardwalk clothing store in Delaware. I stood in the middle of the store and started dancing, and everybody started looking at me going "What the hell is this guy doing?"

i went to undergrad college in Missouri (dont live there anymore) and my roomate was an assistant manager at abercrombie in the mall there. (i was the wed rez at a local club ). not only does abercrombie put together a cd reminscent of the Mainstream Club series at promoonly.com every three weeks to played in rotation at its stores, they have usually have a pair of Crown 1000s for amps in the back of the store! i wouldnt be surprised if it was the hemstock version or some shit mix as mentioned above, those AF execs pay someone to stay up on whats current
