alright, here's the dealie. when i got to roxy i was holding my ticket, when i passed the search guys i didnt have it. i was so pissed, i thought id have to pay $40. As im walking to the cashier, my friend finds these green i think admit one tickets on the floor and says try these. to my luck the guy waived me in with the ticket. so i could see that my luck was getting better, and i was in for a great night. for the music now, I had soo much fun. Every track in my opinion was great, now as for the mixing, i didnt even pay attention, just danced to the great tunes. I dont know why some others didnt like his set. was great to see everyone, what a night!!!

highlight was Salt Tank - Eugina, i love this song

also Noel Sanger played Armin Van Buuren - Blue Fear, this song gives me chills, but was not loud enough.

After a last minute decision, i decided to show. Didn't see too many TAs; i assume u guys were in the middle of the dancefloor which was way too hot to venture thru. but i agree w/ most the ppl here, last nite wasn't the greatest tiesto set but it was still pretty decent. and if the place wasn't so DAMN hot and sweaty, i think we woulda enjoyed it more. :P that's my only opinion pretty much...the place was just too hot to do anything. dunno if the AC was down, or roxy was just being bastards and making ppl buy drinks. <--always a possibility...

anyway, tracklist compiled from other replies and some of my own:
Fear(unkle remix) <--i don't kno the full name
Viframa - Cristalle (Katana vs DJ Precision mix)
Midway - inca
Darren tate - let the light shine in
Darren tate feat kota - waiting
Way out west - mindcircus (g&d mix)
Rank 1 - Breathing (breaks mix)
Eye of Horus
Salt tank - eugina
DJ Tiesto - Magik Journey (old skool rave mix) <--Closer
G&D pres. Motorcycle - As the Rush Comes
DJ Tiesto - Lethal Industry (original?)
Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Tiesto rmx)
DJ Cor Fijneman feat. Jan Johnston - Venus (DJ Tiesto Mix)
Rapid Eye - Circa Forever (Original Iberia Mix)
Mind One ft. Rena - Star for me(Dub)
Push - Journey of Life
Plastic Boy - Silver Bath
Push - Strange World
Barber's Adagio (Tiesto remix)
The Roc Project feat. Tina Arena - Never (Tiesto remix)
Solar Factor - Urban Shakedown
Mr. Sam vs Fred Baker Presents as One - Forever Waiting

that's it for now...feel free to edit my list.

Some MAJOR absences...
DJ Tiesto - Nyana (i'm so surprised he didn't even play his own song)
Andain - Beautiful Things
Scott Bond vs Solar Stone - 3rd Earth (yea it's been caned for awhile, but i wanted to hear him play it.)

First track is Ian Brown- Fear (Unkle Remix)........he started with that in Atlanta too

Looks like a great tracklist........he drop more anthems in NYC than ATL

Tiesto didn't know how to work the mixer?..........that's funny...........Doesn't Roxy have a Rane rotary mixer? I think that's what I saw last time @ Roxy. Maybe it's another mixer now
That's what he was using when he was here in Atlanta. He did fine with that and seems to enjoy himself very much

Glad that most ppl have fun

He def. had some trouble with the mixer. That makeshift setup wasn't that great and it didn't have the cue speakers that most dj's are used too. I thought Sanger's set sucked ballz. The flow was whack and I have heard better progressive many times over. I admit that his set started off shaky, but once he started layin down those harder beats I thought it really picked up. Especially the last hour, man I looked around and everyone was really have a wail of a time. I really didn't pay attention too much to the mixing. I thought the set had a good flow for the last 2 hours I def. felt the high parts and low parts. I def. can see why some ppl. get turned away from Tiesto, his sets have never been what one would call typical trance. But I think it was great, and to hear Suburban Train was just magikal I am sorry some of you didn't enjoy. It happens, I thought Ferry's set at Glow left much to be desired while many others absolutely loved it. I still really really enjoyed myself, and thought he did a wonderful job. As for not bein' into it, I don't think you were watching the same Tiesto, he was really gettin into it and singin'. I loved it when he came up to the front of the stage. Good times man!

well roxy was like a steam bath last night!!!
I was wearing a light blue shirt, and it turned navy blue b/c I sweated like a pig in there..... I guess it was a nice work out....

I felt bad for noel sanger last night, when the crowd started to chant TI-ES-TO before his set was over.... how unwanted could one feel??? ha ha ha a ha

but anywho, when tiesto came out, the crowd was pretty crazy; really full of energy!!! I think tiesto wanted to answer to the crowd and blast us away... but I guess tiesto messed up the volume or something, and the first 1.5 songs were played at 1/2 volume(aka ruined).... I think this made tiesto hella pissed!!! or was it just me that thought that????? cuase after a while tisto just boosted up the volume, and then the tech guy would crawl up behind him and fix it so it wouldn't kill our ear drums, but the second the tech guys backs up tiesto would boost up the volume back up again with the meanest face expression..... he did it 3 or 4 times.... until the tech-ie finally fixed everything.... I guess for me that killed the whole energy the crowd build up for tiesto's entrance, it was like "uhhh.....WTF???!!!!" but from then on I was able to just enjoy the set with my friends and have a great time!!!

some of my highlights...
southern sun
let the light shine in
Rank 1 - Breathing (breaks mix)
Darren Tate & Mike Koglin presents Kota - Waiting
Way out west - mindcircus
Rapid Eye - Circa Forever
Motorcycle - As the Rush Comes
Salt Tank - Eugina

wanted....
-flight 643
-him not end with Magik Journey looped 10000 times

but over all I had a blast!!!

What a strange day/night. I had fun but the night had about seventeen twists and turns.

Ok- the P-L-A-N, was to leave trenton at around 3:00 go to Virgin get the nyana have the Flying Dutchman sign it. Meet TA's and drink during and thru the dinner. then go to roxy where my "friends" were meeting me at around one/two. (friends is in quotes cuz i hate'em, why do those that make us laugh so hard piss us off even more, but I digress)
By 7:30 the plan had gone to shit. So and so isn't ready, so and so doesn't have the money till next week, we have to wait for xyz, I hate them, not to mention ppl saying "why do you want to leave so early, whats the rush"? morons i tell you.

Anyway i had alls i could stand left my house to get the 8:34 train solo, well not entirely true i had my buddy olde english to keep me company and yes i am a degenerate. on the positive i struck up a conversation w/a conductor who had a huge tattoo on his neck.

I got to the station and called a friend who of course doesn't pick-up. I was standing at penn station saying fuking great when my phone rang. it was a grrl i haven't seen in over two years that i met in spain, who said ironically that i should come to the city to meet her at bar, nice one! i met her downtown and she looked amazing, i guess she wasn't lying about running marathons.

Apparently my jokes were up to par b/c i convinced her to come with me to the rox (believe me you all should've seen my face when she said sure) we continued to drink and got to the club at around 11:30.
BTW I met the guy from subway Q and A on the metro channel who was doing some bit about the bar i was at. he was really tall and skinny and his head was huge i'm talkin jason kidd's son's head HUGE, a GRRRREEEATT BIG HED

I guess i was pretty buzzed or just amazed that i convinced this grrrl to be my party partner b/c i didnt even notice when tiesto came on. I was supposed to meet my "friends" at the entrance and apparently talked to them several times to say i'm on my way but have no recollection. then the best thing happens:
She looks at me for what seemed like ten minutes then...drum roll pleaz..she says hey lets go back to my apartment. NICE ONE!!!!

Unbelieveably sick apartment, hot grrl and me hahah guess what doesn't belong.
Man, i can't wipe this smile off my face

In short, the good=well you do the math
the bad= now my friends hate me for not meeting them
the ugly= i waited months to hear tiesto, hyped him up to everyone i know and left in the middle of his set.

sorry i didn't get to see you sunshine, but i MOS DEF didn't plan what happened last night.
rach-i'll hopefully meet you someday
all others yeah ya neva know!!!!!

PAZ

also notable absent were

AMAZON-- (he dropped Inca at the instore then Inca again at roxy!?? Amazon is the jam and he missed it)
NYANA--
CROWN or OBSESSION or one of those techy tracks with the redic builds..

I thought he played too many older tracks like practically half the in my memory album, but i still had a blast. TEN is an amazing track but track of the night hands down blew me away was

FAITH-FUL-NESS!!!!!!!!!!
wow...track is reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedic

I met a buncha TA's but dont remember names..I had the tiesto.com T shirt on....

either way it was fun but NO ENCORE? Shotty Mixing from time to time? To me that wasnt a #1 DJ performance, he showed signs here and there but NOTHING like his Ultra set (maybe i got spoiled)

oh yea, tiesto did drop William Orbit - Barber's Adagio For Strings (Dj Tiesto's Magikal Remake).. but please someone tell him the melody and the beat become seperated at times, unless he wants it like that? but to me, it sounds soo off.
