Yeah, some dude flipped out on drugs, pulled a fire alarm, broke away from his 'confinement area', ran up into the club's office, climbed into the ceiling, started running thru there, putting holes in the ceiling as he went along, clibed 30' into the ceiling and wouldn't come out. Had to send people in looking for him, made it very dangerous for patrons below, in case he were to fall thru the ceiling and land on someone. Swat team got called in, and CP 24 even came by to see the hoopla.
This occured at 5:30am, so everyone in the Kool Haus was forced to leave, cutting Mauro's set off at that time. We weren't allowed over to the Guv side, and a plan had to be devised to handle coat check claims in the parking lot instead.
Apparently there was also a big brawl on the Guv side, involving an extremely large mucle head, about 15 mins before the KH got shut down. A large group of friends just hung outside for a while, listening to the faint sound of DD coming over the patio walls. We finally decided to bail and headed for Cherry Beach for some down time.
