It's hard for me to decide about the bassline though, because i'm at my parents house in the moment and all i can listen to it through is some crappy headphones connected directly to the soundcard
but i could still hear the awesome quality of your track, it flows so well

i have a few remarks though:

1. have you thought about adding some more reverb to the vocals to make them even more epic?
2. the return from the breakdown could be made stronger by adding more kicks and snares, and making the synth fatter after that. The question is if you really wanna do so.. it sounds good the way it is now as well.

I've further updated the track, feel free to check once more if you're interested The vocals are increased in volume now, I don't think adding more reverb to them will make them as clear as they are now though.

hi mate listening to it now..

sounding very nice its a pity u couldnt put it up in any higher than 128k.. but i have a tip that will stop the shit sounding 128k.. just render the track to .wav and then encode it in cool edit pro.. the encoding is very clean (with 'HQ' on) and u can hardly tell the diff between 128k and 160k/192k

anyways back to the track, i dont see a problem with the bassline, sounds good to me. the structure is good and the synths sound good too although i cant really comment on the overall production quality due to the shit encoding

very nice use of the vocals in the breakdown, although i would say do a dub too if you are allowed i would have prefered that little piano bit to not be a piano, but i suppose that is a personal taste thing hehe fucking great melody tho, builds up very nicely. i think you could do with a small 1bar kick+snare roll before the beat kicks in, just to give it that umph

the only bad tihng i can really see is that once the beat kicks in again, the melody doesnt really run very much.. it seems as if it comes, then is gone again straight away, but there is a 2nd breakdown so i guess its hard to do that without it being ages long

very good stuff tho keep it up

thx for your extended feedback, really appreciate it i've updated the track, so maybe the bass problem can be gone for most people.

unfortunately, as you told, there's no real way of extending the melody over another 16 bars and then fade out or something, because indeed it would make the track incredibly long. it's always a matter of finding the right length of a track when it comes to building/fading main leads
there is already a snareroll that climaxes near the start of the main lead though, with some crashes as well.

I'll give that cool edit pro encoder a shot. this one was encoded with MPEG Suite, it encodes fast as hell really, so the quality might be a bit less at 128 kbps.
