that's right!!! here at TA, your opinions are wrong!!!!!
j/k

i like it a bit, but the only thing he's done with the tune is he punched in the original sometimes in the beat....can't really see what's so massive remix about that....gabriel & dresden could have played twice as good as this, two tunes over each other, live!!!! me??? i couldn't do half as good!

however, i'm not so impressed. it's just that this.....remix has got me keen on the original again.

I wasn't all that impressed either...

It doesn't seem to go anywhere and I spent the whole song waiting for the kick in....and it never came....

*meh*

remix of
nirvana - smells like teen spirit???

sounds scary, gotta listen to this. it can't be as good as you are all saying. that'd be crazy!

edit:

ok! this wasn't nearly as bad as i would have thought, but still it's not that great either IMO. it's just not my style i guess. the original beats this hands down IMO!

can someone explain to me why the original is considered so amazing & best track of all time (by vh1)?

i mean, it's a great track, but what's so special about it that makes it #1?

i'm gonna go download the remix, if i can find it

i agree, but if it kicks in, then its just the original track. and that would defeat the purpose of a remix. the first time i heard it i was like "aww" what a let down, but honestly, its not at all. just listen to everything freeland did in that track. the editing he did is amazing.

granted it doesn't have the huge climax that it builds up, but if you just sit and rock out to the tune, the beat, then i think its a lot more enjoyable!
