I'm gonna try the glass and refridgerator technique tomorrow. I just got 3rd earth in the mail the other day and its incredibly warped. I bought 2 though, just the 2nd hasn't come in yet! I'll let everyone know how my venture went.
peace,
Steve

This thread should be up top all the time, I've been wondering how to fix this for a while.
my dad said the same thing about the blow dryer, he said thats what he used for warped records and it works like a charm. I have only one warp record (really warped) im gonna get him to fix it for me and i will return results.
He also told me to put em between 2 sheets of glass(like they said above) and put it under my bed. The reason is i live in an apartment building and when the floor downstaris turn up the heat , my floor is burning, so that will fix the warped record. I'll get back to you if i use this method.
I read something somewhere that putting the record between 2 glass rectangles and then you put the glasses with the warped vinyl inside, in a temprature of about 40-45°C.
I know, very BAD explained, lemme draw it.

i put it on top of my satellite receiver which gets hot and i put a yellow pages on top of one half of the vinyl and the white pages on top of the second half. surely enough by the second day, the vinyl was flat.
it was warped atleast 3 cm upwards on both ends. it was a horrible scene but now its flat and looks mint. had my friend play it and there is no apparent quality loss.
