cool thread, really
this is a good way to do *something* even if this is not huge of course... anyways that's nice, especially for students or others that don't have much to offer, but may share a bit their internet connection for some humble aims.
along with the TA Unite for United Devices, i think this is a great thing

I'm unsticky-ing this thread.

Reason:

These sites are just up to benefit the person(s) running them - providing them with income - of which they give a % to charity.

If you want to help please contact a reputable registered charity and make a donation, these places are just moneymakers for lazy webmasters.

One article I found on this after a google search.

If/when I have time I'll go through them and see if any give 100% to charity (and if they're legit) and then I have no problem with stickying up a new thread.

PeacefulWarrior your intentions are good but I can't say the same about the sites listed.
