i love sony mdr 700's! but they ALWAYS break within a year for me.. my 3rd set has just cracked, i moved onto pioneer hdj-1000 for abit, but again within a year a fault with the volume.. so now i am with hd25's, heard great things about them, will see if they last longer than a year!

i yad the sennheiser ones for a year and the ear peice padding fell off.

good thing is everything is replacable

sound quality is brilliant as well and there lite as, compared the the sony and pioneers.

The HD25's will do you well... the V700's are less comfy, less durable, less accurate, and just plain worse than the 25's in every way..
