I'm just wondering, where will music go after trance? it's like it started with classical, then rock, then hip hop, then electronica, and electronica is the most complex technologically and i can't see where else we can go. but then again music doesn't have to be technological but when u think about it practically everything is done in some fancy studio. anyone kinda understand wat i'm saying?
yes, you kinda took out the words from my mouth :

if technology were to collapse as a whole then there may be a few teething problems in recreating what has gone before.... but there will always b sound however it has evolved, it jst depends if the word 'trance' and its meaning is maintained. Which i think it will be.

Seriously dude, what was that? Had some kind of Nihilism attack?
in case you didn't notice, each of the 20 "what's your top ten tracks ATM" threads is more useful than this thread, because this thread fits the category "oh, i'm trying to be cool and original by coming up with topics just for the sake of posting them and not actually discussing them"
and since this thread is so pointless, i'm done posting in it.

Trance hasnt even reached its highest point yet so u can say when its goin to die, or actually maybe it has reached its point and I dont know yet but IMO I still think trance has a long way to come here in America, and i think its steadily reaching a new plateau, but until that happens no one can predict the future of trance IMO.

Just one of life's mysteries!
No-one can ever really know, but tbh, it wont die for AGES coz there are just so many die-hard fans willing to hear (and pay for!) the tunes being made and until that stops, it'll be around 4eva

5 years, when it will be replaced by HAPPY HARDCORE!!! you see, as the drugs get more advanced, the less and less need we will have for more complex music
