After 5 years without playing any CS...yesterday felt some tremendous need to play it again!
Searched for the installation disk, calmly installed everything, downloaded tons of maps and found some german servers. The first 3 hours they literally kicked my butt. I felt so lost. They just seemed too quick for me. But...around the fifth I was starting to restore my skills from back in the days....and around the eight hour it was a true massacre on the dance floor.
I've registered a demo, if you're curios I'll share it

I had a couple of friends/roommates that lived for CS for several years. They'd ignore IMs for days. The only way I ever knew if they were home or not was to drive to their house and listen for the sounds of the subwoofers booming from the conc grenades going off or the timers on them.
