My problem with this track is that the break is so uninspiring, very weak. He used way too many elements from the original, the fx, the lead, the pad. If i was to remix this track I would have taken a different approach. I would have done something different with the vocal pad, lots of potential there.
The breakbeat with that weird plucky melody is terrible, especially when it changes chords.
The main melody is pretty good, I like the phaser, but it's not as epic as the original. The bassline is mint as mentioned already.
Overall the thumbs up goes to the original. You can tell that each sound has been perfected, each element carefully chosen, very well structured. The Lange mix seems rushed incomparison.
