Oh is that so asshole? Then why is it that i see tons of slovanians in my country on vacation every summer? Croatia is a beautiful country with very friendly people. I didnt know people only take their shirts of at raves in croatia, because it seems that in every picture i look at of a rave people have their shirts off. Granted, i dont like when some sweaty man rubs up against me either but maybee you should stop being a sausage and find some girls to hang out with and you wont have that problem. The nightlife in croatia is awesome, and I would strongly suggest it to anyone wanting to go. Every friend ive taken there from america has loved it and all of us are going together this summer (5 of us). Maybe you had an isolated bad experience there, but dont go as far as saying that you dont want to be croatia your neighbor. Ignorant fuck.

secondly ... it was not an isolated case ...valkana beach was just the biggest event ...and i am suprised that organizers allowed something like that to happen ... beating ppl in front of cameras (while those were the cameras os co-organizer of course nothing came on tv ) ... tell me .. is this the way to treat visitors who paid 300-400 kn for entrance ?!?

third ... organizers were promising afterhours on beach ... and they knew all the way that they didn`t have a permission

and there was one beach party (forgot the name, but it was just after summer gathering) where the police searched us 4 times ?????? in 2 hours ... when we told them that their colleagues already searched us... the answer was - shut up or !!!!!!!

oh yeah ... who was saving your toursim where noone wanted to come , because there was war in your country ...and who betrayed us in war and allowed the tanks freely to cross the border ????

It was inevitable this would get political.

I dropped by Croatia this summer too, for about 10 days mid-August.. it was wicked.. but it's not big on nightlife, sorry. Partying in Montenegro is much better I went all the way from Dubrovnik to Venice and not a lot of crazy parties.. Dubrovnik was fun, but then again I had a fun company, the same goes for Korcula, I am pissed I didn't make it to Hvar; Bacvice in Split were so-so, nothing spectacular, Zadar, Opatija, Rijeka and Pula are dead, I couldn't believe it. And no trance at all, some house, a good amount of techno.. So after all, I decided to skip Valkana, even though I had planned on going and had a ticket, and jetted back to Montenegro to hit Bokeljska.
TranceGeek was there for Valkana.. he probably didn't see this thread.

Valkana was wicked, most likely the best party I've ever been to, thank you DANNY RAMPLING!! I never saw anyone get beat up and thrown out, so I dunno what stasha's talking about... but I did get attitude, and actually lots of it, although thats a totally different story altogether...

aside from Valkana, Croatia was soooo fucking DULL... I don't understand how you can say its got a great nightlife, have you not been elsewhere so that you could compare? especially Split, which was apparently famous for having a great scene... pfft, riight, but I'm pretty sure Slovenia isn't any better, that whole area is really lacking!

oh yeah, and the beaches sucked too
